High School students, take a minute and review some key milestones and tips to prepare for the SoINFAME AMT Program…
- Ask your teachers to help you sign up for Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes including engineering, advanced manufacturing and robotics.
- Work with counselor to add college credits to your schedule whenever possible.
- Set a goal to be college algebra and english comp ready by senior year.
- Continue Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes and college credits if your schedule allows.
- Sign up for other STEM clubs if available (FIRST Robotics)
- Continue taking college credits and Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes
- Work with counselor on preparing transcripts for senior year application.
- Work a part time job to start gaining employability skills.
- Community service activities are a great way to build professional skills and make a difference in your community too!
- Apply for the SoINFAME AMT program early (as in BEFORE October 1st) of your Senior year.
- Build a resume and practice your personal interview skills.
- Finish CTE classes and any additional college credits.
